In 2018, the DVD rental chain Family Video branched out into the cannabis industry and started carrying CBD products in its stores. Part of the challenge of selling this product was finding a way to educate potential customers on the health benefits and legality of the substance. We ended up crafting a 6 month educational content campaign to help the public understand why their local DVD rental store started carrying cannabis. Having a landing page with trustworthy and education content was key to this strategy and cementing Family Video as a legitimate CBD vendor.
I worked with the internal creative team to create brand assets for the new Family Video health brand in addition to researching CBD products and health benefits. At the time this landing page was created, Family Video was only selling CBD products in its physical locations. Since customers would not be able to buy the product online, the objective was to establish Family Video as a knowledgeable CBD vendor with content.
